Choosing a project for our curriculum

Now that you have learnt about all these project types possible for a BA, which one should we concentrate on in this course?

We want to choose something that prepares you to handle all types of the above projects. ALL.

So, we will go with a project where a BA will help develop a piece of software from scratch. Create a software tool from 0 to 1 to handle a new business case. It will be the project type-3. Custom Software Development.

This will need you, as a BA to practice and master all core skills from end-to-end.

Ok, now that we have chosen a project to focus on- which domain should be choose?

Finance? Health care? Insurance? Trading? CRM?

There is an old saying, - if you have hair, you can make any hairstyle.

So we will concentrate on a type of project where there is little to none domain knowledge background required. We want you to follow along so easily that all your efforts will be spent on learning core BA skills- not understanding complex domain.

We will develop a job board from scratch for a consulting company and turn it into a marketplace.
